This course will review approaches to common, challenging conditions in the knee, with a focus upon younger patients without advanced osteo-arthritis. Focal cartilage loss of the knee joint in different regions will be discussed. Combined lesions of articular cartilage and meniscus loss will be reviewed. A separate discussion will also review options for treating more advanced cases of osteochondritis dissecans.
