The synergy of surgical technique, patient education, and pain management has ushered in the evolution of outpatient Total hip arthroplasty. The presentation will discuss some tips and tricks in performing an anterior THA in a physician owned surgicenter using the Thompson(self-retaining) system. Prior to the pandemic I would offer an outpatient option, now patients are requesting it.
