This webinar is directed to all fellows and young hand surgeons at the start of their career. New hand surgeons encounter many challenges that can place tremendous stress to their already taxing lives. Methods to optimize emotional wellness and career satisfaction will be reviewed. In addition, the methods to address the obstacles that are encountered when starting your clinical and/or academic practices will be discussed. Lastly, approaches to managing trainees (residents/fellows) and continuing with research interests will be imparted to those early in their academic hand surgery careers.
