Cases Solved! Pediatric Acute Compartment Syndrome
Cases Solved! is a journal-based CME activity series presented by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Learning Objectives
- Describe the pathophysiology, epidemiology, and etiology of traumatic and atraumatic pediatric acute compartment syndrome.
- Identify common symptoms and examination findings indicative of pediatric acute compartment syndrome.
- Discuss indications, methods, and considerations for intracompartmental pressure testing in children in whom acute compartment syndrome is suspected.
- Review common complications and describe clinical outcomes associated with the management of pediatric acute compartment syndrome.
