Evidence Based Orthopaedics: An Introduction addresses how practitioners can use evidenced based medicine, the integrating of the current best research evidence to best determine patient treatments. This module outlines how to perform a quick, focused PubMed search for clinical research questions, determine levels of evidence of individual studies, interpret systematic review results (e.g. clinical significance vs. statistical significance), and interpret meta-analyses results forest plots as well as provide an overall better understanding of systematic reviews, meta analyses, and the statistical interpretations therein.
