Reaming and Bone Grafting Techniques for Long-Term Glenoid Stability After Total Shoulder Arthroplasty
Total shoulder arthroplasty (TSA) has proved to be an outstanding treatment for refractory osteoarthritis, resulting in good to excellent outcomes in up to 95% of patients. These results have been observed in several large series, with the revision-free survivorship of up to 20 years reported to be approximately 80%. Most of these large series reported on first-and second-generation implant designs. Given these results, the number of TSA procedures being performed continues to increase at a substantial rate.
