Management of Medial Collateral Ligament Insufficiency of the Elbow
Medial collateral ligament (MCL) reconstruction of the elbow was first described by Jobe in the mid 1980s. Currently, several technical modifications of the Jobe technique (modified Jobe technique, docking technique) are commonly used. Many patients are successfully treated nonsurgically, and one of the key factors in patient care is patient selection. Current areas of interest include the epidemiology of MCL reconstruction and outcome optimization.
