ORIF Glenoid Fractures
Fractures of the scapula are uncommon, accounting for 0.4% to 1% of all fractures. Of these, only 10% involve the glenoid cavity. Approximately 90% of glenoid fractures are minimally displaced or nondisplaced, leaving only 10% that require surgical intervention. However, a recent study reported that up to 80% of glenoid fractures were managed surgically.
