Revision Joint-Sparing Surgical Procedures for the Management of Hallux Valgus
The failure of surgical management of hallux valgus can result from failure to address all the factors contributing to the hallux valgus deformity, technical errors in the performance of the surgical procedure, poor procedure selection, and poor patient selection. All these factors must be taken under consideration when managing failed surgical treatment of hallux valgus. This chapter primarily focuses on failure to address all factors that contribute to the deformity and technical errors made in the procedure.
